Sunday School is offered for 3 year olds through 6th grade. Sunday School is held at 9:00 AM before the worship service, September through May. Contact us to sign up.

Workshop rotation format is being taught this year. Children begin each lesson with a whole-group session followed by four weeks of rotating sessions broken into age groups. The session conclusion is again in a whole-group setting.

Day Camp 2011

Spirit of Christ Day Camp has completed another successful session. For four days children hopped on the bus to Journey with Jesus. They learned about Jesus's love as a healer in Cana, God's love through the Prodigal Son story, and temptation in the garden of Gethsemane. They rode the Jonathan Paddleford, toured the Wabasha Caves and St. Paul Cathedral, visited the Franconia Sculpture Park and Como Park, and they viewed Believe It or Not at the Minneapolis Art Institute. They collected food for STEP, St. Louis Park's Food Shelf, while enjoying a water day at the REC Center. Then they toured North Minneapolis to see the work done following the tornado. They ended the week by packing 25272 meals at Feed My Starving Children after hearing the bible story of the boy who shared his lunch and fed the 5000!. They also donated money to Feed My Starving Children which they collected every day of Day Camp.

Family Events:

Sunday, February 12

Our next Family Event Sunday will be February 12. Hopefully we will be sledding if there is enough snow. An alternate activity will be planned if the weather is not cooperating. Lunch will be provided. All are welcome!
